SilkCO. 70 is a studio built around hair and scalp health. Founder DeNona leads the practice, which offers trichology-informed care for thinning, shedding, hair loss, scalp imbalance and related scalp concerns.

The studio starts with a consultation. A Level I Scalp Consultation can be done virtually or in person. The Level II Comprehensive Scalp Consultation includes a scalp analysis, pH testing, saliva testing, a hair strand test, a follicle assessment and a non-invasive biometric wellness scan that looks at stress, circulation and nutritional balance. Saliva testing is meant to offer insight into internal stress and possible hormonal influences. The consultation assesses hair and scalp health and gives personalized care recommendations. It does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment. Clients with hair loss, thinning or scalp conditions begin with a Level I consultation before booking Level II or Advanced Scalp Therapy Services.

Press services are the studio's styling work. New clients book the SilkCO Signature Press, which includes hydration, protein support and styling, and is described by the studio as restoring and strengthening hair. Returning clients who have been away six weeks or longer book the Signature Maintenance Press with a protein treatment and trim. Scalp therapy services are blow-dry only, so styling must be booked separately. Services may be adjusted or declined if they could compromise the hair or scalp, and clients can contact the studio if unsure which service to book.

Booking requires a 35% non-refundable reservation fee, which is applied to the final total. The fee is forfeited for late cancellations or no-shows. Appointments should be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours ahead. Arriving 15 or more minutes late may mean a shortened or rescheduled service, and 20 or more minutes late may forfeit the appointment. All service prices are starting-at rates, and final pricing can vary by length, density, condition, time and product needed. Clients should arrive with hair free of heavy oils, grease and product buildup. Additional guests and children are not permitted unless they are receiving services.

The studio takes a scalp-first approach, putting the health of the hair and scalp ahead of styling, and considers internal factors such as nutrition, stress and overall wellness.
