The studio describes its aim as an elevated visit and a gentler alternative to waxing. The salon says sugaring removes hair at the root and causes less irritation, regrowth and ingrown hairs than waxing, and that it suits sensitive skin and skin prone to ingrown hairs. The paste is made from lemon, sugar and water, which the salon describes as organic and eco-certified.

The Maryville location adds sunless tanning, lashes, brows and teeth brightening, and the business pairs sugaring with sunless tanning. Sunless tanning has been offered for 14 years.

Visits are by appointment only, Tuesday through Sunday. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 24 hours notice, or 48 hours for lash extensions and teeth brightening. A $50 charge goes on the card on file for changes made inside that window, and an unpaid invoice blocks new bookings until it is settled.

Hair is removed in the direction of growth, using a sugar paste offered as an alternative to waxing.
