SHINE on 41st

SHINE on 41st is set up as a community of independent stylists rather than a traditional salon floor. Each suite has its own private entry and is ready for a stylist to work in right away, so members run their own space.

The suites have crisp white walls, two-toned leather styling chairs and imported stone countertops at every station. Workstations include individually dimmable lighting and a built-in Sonos sound system, and some suites can be shared by up to two stylists.

Members set their own prices, choose their own working days and hours, and keep all of their earnings. They also choose the products they use, and the shampoo back bar is stocked with Kevin Murphy.

Shared areas and amenities included for every member are a waiting lounge, a shampoo relaxation room, a client dressing room with iridescent kimonos, a break room, microfiber towels, on-site laundry, cleaning, utilities, high-speed WiFi, a surface parking lot for clients, 24-hour salon access and security cameras.

The stated mission is to give each member a private, intimate, modern and refined space to focus on clients and their craft.
