Shifa Nail Care

Shifa Nail Care works from a Chandler studio on West Ray Road and also travels to hospitals, rehab centers, group homes and senior centers. For hands, the menu runs from a natural manicure with no polish, a warm coconut oil bath, arm and hand massage and a buff and shine ($35, 45 minutes), to a traditional dry manicure finished with Maya Halal polish ($40, one hour) and a dry manicure finished with Dazzle Dry polish ($55, one hour). Gel manicures ($60, 90 minutes) can be done in basic, soft structure or hard structure gel, and the client picks the product when booking.

For feet, a nail trim only pedicure ($55, 45 minutes) uses soakless nail and cuticle care with a buff and shine or Dazzle Dry polish, and does not include skin treatments. The medical pedicure is also soakless and includes a foot health consultation, a hot towel cleanse, toenail and cuticle grooming, and sole and heel exfoliation. The booking page lists it from $80 to $150 depending on foot condition, and corn reduction is an extra charge. Concerns noticed during screening are referred to a physician, and medical clearance is requested when care needs it.

Restoration and add-on work centers on NanoFlex gel with NanoSilver, an antimicrobial. Toenail reconstruction builds a new nail over an existing one, and ingrown nail correction places a band on the existing nail to relieve pressure from involuted nails. Ingrown correction costs $50 for one nail, $65 for two, or $40 per nail when combined with reconstruction. Clients with an infection must have it cleared by a podiatrist first. Reconstruction Fill ($65, 45 minutes) is for returning clients with intact product, applied by Shifa only. Modeling Opportunity ($75, two hours) covers two structure gel and/or nail art appointments, and payment must be made ahead to reserve.

Booking page hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, 9 AM to 6:30 PM; the studio is closed Sunday, Monday and Friday. No deposit is required. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and later cancellations carry a 25% service fee. Payment is by cash or Zelle only. The business says it provides services in a safe and aseptic environment, and tools are sterilized in a Midmark Ritter M9 autoclave.

Tools are sterilized in an autoclave, concerns found during screening are referred to a physician, and medical clearance is requested when care requires it.
