Jessica has worked in the hair industry since 1995. She started in a hair chain, moving from employee to manager, and later moved into booth rental. She then co-owned a salon with her sister before founding Shear Simplicity with Janel. Janel began her own career in 1998.
The menu covers haircuts starting at $30, which usually take about 30 minutes. Color services start at $35 and typically run 45 minutes or longer. Foil services start at $70, and balayage and ombre start at $120 and take about two hours. Perms start at $72 and take about two and a half hours. Corrective color is priced after a consultation. Styling and waxing start at $15, and add-ons start at $6. A consultation of about 15 minutes is offered. Extension work requires a first appointment booked by phone for a consultation. Gift cards are sold as eGift cards in $10, $20, $25, $50, or a custom amount.
