Every stylist completes the salon's own training program before working on guests, whatever their experience before joining. Assistants are recent or upcoming graduates who finish that training while serving their own guests a few hours each week. The salon certifies stylists in its Principle-Based Design, which covers cutting, coloring, styling and product knowledge, and says its advanced education is what distinguishes it.
The menu covers cuts and styles, chemical services, keratin treatments and hair extensions. Listed prices are starting prices. Stylists move through a leveling system from New Talent up to Level 5 and above, and prices are set by availability, education and demand, so New Talent stylists charge less than other levels. Level 5 and above stylists take appointments by request only. Select stylists offer a complimentary consultation that gives an exact cost. Credit card payments carry a 3.95% fee.
The salon sells Aveda products. Online orders ship free, and samples are included with them.
Education comes first: stylists finish the salon's training before serving guests, and the salon certifies them in its own design principles covering cutting, coloring, styling and product knowledge.
