Rather than operating from a fixed salon, the business goes to the client, providing hair services on site at homes, hotels and wedding venues in the Lakeshore and Greater Grand Rapids area.
Wedding work is a large part of what the business offers. Options include bridal updos, other updos, hot tool styling and makeup, delivered at the location the couple chooses. Wedding services are booked through a wedding contract, which can be downloaded and emailed back to the business for review. Weddings should be booked at least one month ahead. A non-refundable $50 deposit secures the contract, and the minimum booking is $250.
Beyond weddings, the business provides groom and groomsmen grooming, including beard trims, line ups and men's short and long styles. It also runs event packages: a princess party for young girls and a tween and teen glam package.
Appointments run on set weekday hours, from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday, with weekend work by appointment or event. Hair should be washed and fully dry before the stylist arrives, makeup clients need a clean face free of makeup, and the client provides a workspace with working electrical outlets. The balance is paid on the day of service by cash or credit card. Cancellations need at least seven days' notice or the full agreed amount is owed, and any additional services must be requested no later than three days before the event.
Works on site under contracts with companies and individuals, so services come to the location the client chooses.
