She Handsy

She Handsy is an independent nail studio in Seattle's Green Lake neighborhood. It was started in 2017 and has operated a studio at its Greenlake location for eight years. The studio's work centers on hard gel manicures and custom nail art, and it does not offer acrylic, dip powder, or pedicures.

Every appointment is one-on-one with the nail artist, so clients work with the same person throughout and there are no rotating technicians. Appointments are by appointment only, and hours vary.

The structured hard gel manicure starts with detailed nail preparation and cuticle care, followed by shaping customized to the client. The studio applies an Akzentz structured hard gel overlay and Luxio gel color. Hard gel is used to reinforce nails that chip, peel, or break easily, and the studio welcomes clients who want to grow and keep their natural nails, including those whose nails are weak, brittle, or breaking.

Returning clients receive finishing care and maintenance of their existing hard gel. Most clients come back every three to five weeks, depending on how quickly their nails grow and how they live. Nail art is priced separately, starting at $5, with the final price depending on design complexity. Styles include minimalist details, French tips, chrome, cat eye, glitter, abstract art, and hand-painted designs. Clients who want something detailed should book the nail art at the same time as the manicure and send inspiration photos ahead of the visit.

Clients who have product from another salon should expect extra removal time, and removal fees may apply.
