Shaya Salon is a small, independently owned salon in Hugo, Minnesota. Owner Maci Miller opened it as a long-held dream of running her own salon, and it now has four stylists. The salon describes itself as welcoming and intimate.
There is no receptionist. Clients book directly with the stylist they want, and each stylist's hours and phone availability differ. The salon is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 to 8:00, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 to 5:00, and Saturday hours vary.
Services center on haircuts, color and complete transformations. Clients can sip coffee or wine during their appointment. Cancellations and reschedules need 48 hours' notice; later cancellations are charged half the service to the card on file, and a no-show is charged the full scheduled service.
Stylists tailor each visit to the individual client, with the aim of a personal experience.
