Sharra Spann takes appointments through its online booking system. Each month's calendar opens at noon on the first day of the previous month, and new openings appear when earlier appointments are cancelled, so clients who check back often have a better chance of finding a time.

Every appointment requires a $50 deposit at booking. The deposit is applied to the cost of the service. Deposits are non-refundable, but one deposit can be moved to a new date once, provided the appointment is rescheduled or the business is told within 48 hours of the appointment time. If the appointment is not rescheduled within 48 hours of the service, the deposit is forfeited and a new one is needed to book again.

Cancellations must be made through the website; direct messages and texts do not count. A missed appointment with no cancellation or rescheduling is recorded as a no-show, and the card on file is charged the full service amount. Clients who arrive late have a 15-minute grace period. After that, the service may not be carried out that day and the deposit is forfeited.

Balances can be paid by credit or debit card, by Zelle, or in cash on the day of the appointment. The business separates clients into existing clients, meaning anyone served within the past six months, and new or returning clients, meaning anyone never served or not served within the past six months.
