Shape Up Brow Studio opened in 2016 in a small storefront in Kyle, Texas. It later ran a second location out of a small room rental in Temple for two years before moving to Landa Studios in New Braunfels, closer to the owner's home and roughly 30 minutes south of the Kyle space. The building houses several small businesses, each run by its own practitioner.

The studio says its founding focus is the positive change it hopes to bring to clients' confidence and to the wider community, and that it strives to be the best brow studio around.

Bookings are made through the studio's online booking page, and a complimentary pre-consultation is offered; a $25 no-show fee applies. The studio has no dedicated phone line, so clients can request a call through the contact form. A first brow appointment takes about three to four hours and includes numbing, a design consultation and final photos. Touchups take about an hour and a half to two and a half hours and are scheduled four to eight weeks after the first session. Clients usually describe the numbing sensation as light pressure or slight scratching. Brows should stay dry and free of products for one week, apart from the ointment provided. They are typically visibly healed in one to one and a half weeks and fully healed in four weeks, and results usually last one to three years before a refresh is needed. Brow permanent makeup is not suitable for people who are pregnant, have recently had Botox or Accutane, or have several other listed conditions or recent treatments.

Brow pricing is $240 for touchups on brows under 18 months old and $340 for brows 18 months to 3 years old. Microblading with touchup is $595, combo, ombre, powder or nano brows with touchup are $695, and a cover up or corrective brow service with touchup is $795. Paramedical prices depend on size: scar camouflage runs $150 to $400, Procell scar treatment $175 to $400, Procell stretch mark treatment $250 to $400, Procell acne scar, wrinkle and spot treatments $175 to $250, Procell face and neck skin tightening $300, Procell stomach, leg and large-area skin tightening $400 to $600, Procell hair regrowth $500, and 3D areola tattoos $400 for a single or $700 for bilateral. Procell multi-treatment packages are discounted, and printable gift certificates start at $100.

The studio also trains students. Group Basic Training is 40 hours in a group of no more than four students. Individual Basic Training is 40 hours of customized instruction with an optional online portion. Extended Beginner Training runs 10 days, half online and half in person. Master Training covers advanced technique, etiquette and business guidance for people already trained in microblading. A Certificate of Completion requires a minimum number of training hours.

Each brow design is customized through a consultation, mapping and trying on, and color swatching, with color kept modest by default since added color is harder to remove or lighten later. The studio keeps its menu to a small range of brow and skin services, putting quality ahead of a full beauty list.
