The salon aims for a look that suits each client rather than one that follows trends. Clients can book a complimentary consultation, which is a 15-minute-plus conversation to set goals, expectations and an estimated price range. Liz wants to hear clients' ideas before anything is decided.

Color work runs from a quick mini foil at the hairline between blonding appointments, to color retouches on regrowth only, to scalp-to-ends color that matches natural shades or goes darker. Full and partial blonding include a full toner, and a custom lightening service is available for dramatic changes or for growing out color that has been in place six months or more; that pricing is set at consultation. Color corrective work requires a consultation before booking and a $100 non-refundable deposit that is credited to the correction appointment.

Hair treatment add-ons are offered with most services. Options include a high shine treatment, moisture and hydration repair, an intense protein deposit and a scalp exfoliant refresh, along with situation-specific treatments for chlorine, color and hard water.

Booking and payment details: the salon asks for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel. Cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours of the appointment carry a fee of 25% of the scheduled service, which the owner may waive for an unforeseen situation. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment. Hours are Monday 9 AM to 8 PM, Tuesday 9 AM to 8:30 PM, Wednesday 9 AM to 6 PM, Friday 10 AM to 3 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 3 PM. The salon is closed Thursdays and Sundays.
