Shadowz Salon is a family-owned salon at 7121 S Val Vista Dr in Gilbert. The menu is grouped into haircuts, color, makeup, specialty services, treatments and blowout memberships. Haircuts cover women's, men's and children's cuts, fades, blowouts and dry styles. Color services are all priced a la carte, from balayage, highlights and lowlights to halo foiling, toners and bleach work. Color correction, fashion color and creative color are by consultation only. Makeup includes full face, bridal and bridal trial looks, eyes and lips, and lash add-ons, and on-location makeup is by consultation. Specialty services include updos, braids, perms, keratin treatments, Japanese straight perms and bridal hair. Extensions are also by consultation. Treatments include a scalp massage, an R+Co treatment and a K18 Pro service. Blowout memberships come in buy 4 get 1 free, buy 6 get 2 free and buy 8 get 3 free tiers.

Prices are listed as starting prices, and the salon notes they may vary by stylist and by hair length and density. Add-on services carry additional charges. Rescheduling or cancelling needs at least 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations or reschedules are charged 50 percent of the service price, and no-call, no-shows are charged the full service amount.

Open Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday and Friday 10:00am to 7:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm. The salon also sells products online, and clients can pick up products in person.

Shadowz Salon also rents booths to full-time and part-time stylists. Booth renters receive complimentary backbar shampoo and conditioners, drapes, towels and a backbar styling product starter pack, plus shampoo chairs and blow dryers. Renters also get a bi-weekly $25 credit at Top Cup Coffee House and an incentivized retail sales program. Clients are offered refreshments, and the space includes a flower photo wall with a 360 camera.

The salon aims for each visit to feel memorable and positive, with the focus on bringing out a client's beauty.
