Falguni Shah, known as Falli, founded the spa in 2002. The spa says it was the first in the region to bring threading to Northeast Florida.

Ayurvedic treatments are central to the menu. The site describes Ayurveda as a system developed more than 5,000 years ago in ancient India. Offerings include abhyanga oil massages, shirodhara, marma point work, nasya for the nasal passages and sinuses, head and shoulder therapy, and several basti treatments for the navel, heart, knee and lower back. Many are paired with the near-infrared sauna or the Himalayan salt room. Panchakarma retreats run in 3-day-plus-3-day and 5-day-plus-5-day formats, and a consultation with a certified Ayurvedic practitioner is required at least two weeks before the cleanse.

Visits are by appointment only. Guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes early, remove their shoes on arrival, skip perfume and cologne, and silence phones. A credit card secures each reservation, and packages are booked with a 50% deposit. Single services should be cancelled at least 24 hours ahead and multiple services at least 48 hours ahead; a no-show or same-day cancellation is charged 50% of the services booked. Tipping is optional, with a typical amount of 18 to 20 percent of each service's regular price.

Facials are customized after a consultation with an esthetician and include options such as microcurrent, biostimulation laser, diamondbrasion and hydradermie. Waxing is not offered to clients using retinoids such as Retin A, Accutane, Tazorac or Differin, or other exfoliating medications, nor within recent laser treatment, plastic surgery or sunburn. Ionization is not used during pregnancy, nursing or cancer treatment. The spa states it is not a licensed medical facility, and its footer lists massage license number MM 11850.

Blends Eastern and Western techniques to treat the body as a whole, with the aim of restoring balance to the mind, body and spirit.

The spa describes its setting as calm and peaceful, a place to step away from outside stress.
