The owners describe the salon's mission as providing quality, professional and friendly service to the community, in an atmosphere that combines innovation and excellence so clients leave feeling good. The salon calls itself one of the most dynamic salons on the North Shore and says it has a long history there. It also says it provides only the best hairstylists and nail technicians.

A visit usually starts with a consultation so the result suits the client. Hair consultations are complimentary, and so are texturizing and smoothing consultations. Extension services are by appointment only and require a consultation first, which is offered free. Color correction is priced after a consultation. On-site event hair can be arranged at the client's location for occasions such as weddings and bat mitzvahs, with pricing arranged by phone.

In 2014 the stylists became certified Brazilian Blowout technicians. In 2015 the salon added Magic Sleek formaldehyde-free straightening to its smoothing services. The salon also says it was one of the first in Illinois to offer dip powder manicures. Adding French tips costs $5 extra on manicures and pedicures.

The salon is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm, Thursday from 9 am to 7 pm, Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, and is closed Sundays and Mondays. Phone is (847) 940-7382. It accepts Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. The salon is hiring hair stylists, nail technicians, shampoo assistants and receptionists.

Consultations are offered before services so the finished look suits each client.
