Every visit is planned around the client. New color guests and anyone planning a significant color change are asked to book a color consultation first, which covers assessment, planning and any strand testing; it is paid in full at booking and is not credited toward later services. First-time silk press clients, and those six or more months since their last press, are steered toward the press with a precision cut, while clients returning within six months who keep their current haircut can book a maintenance press. Anyone booking a quick weave is asked to contact the studio before buying hair. Complimentary beverages and snacks are offered, parking in the lot is free, and the studio is wheelchair accessible. It does not accept children.

Reserving a service requires a 25% non-refundable retainer, which is applied to the total. With 48 or more hours' notice the retainer can move once to an appointment within 30 days. Cancelling 24 to under 48 hours ahead incurs a charge of half the service total, while cancelling under 24 hours ahead or not showing incurs 75%, with the retainer counted toward it. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean rescheduling, and the 75% charge can then apply, so late clients are asked to call the studio. Service or price changes need the client's agreement before work starts.
