Treatments and home care routines are built around each client's skin type and concerns, so a visit starts with understanding what the client wants to change about their skin.

Acne is a major focus. The Virtual Acne Program at $120 suits clients who want guidance from a distance: it includes an in-depth consultation to identify acne skin type, an acne information packet, a customized home care routine, access to purchase Active Face Reality acne products, and biweekly check-ins by text. New in-person clients pay $150 for a consultation and first treatment, which covers facial cleansing, enzyme exfoliation, extractions, high frequency and LED light therapy, and they must buy an initial acne kit. Returning clients who have had a consultation at SereniSkin can book acne treatments at $135, which include a double cleanse with steam, enzyme or peel, extractions, ice globes or high frequency, LED light, and finishing products. Acne appointments booked by people who are not current clients are cancelled.

Other services include a first-time client custom facial at $130 with skin analysis, an anti-aging facial at $140, and a hydro facial at $150 that uses serum and oxygen to exfoliate and hydrate. The hydro facial with enzyme exfoliation or chemical peel is $180, and the salon says this version can help with rosacea and the look of fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots. Dermaplaning is offered alone at $160 with enzyme exfoliation, or at $180 with a hydro facial. Microdermabrasion at $130 uses diamond-tipped exfoliation with light suction, and at $150 it can be combined with enzyme exfoliation. The ProCell microchanneling treatment is $320; the salon says it can help with the look of wrinkles, acne scars and acne inflammation, and it is not recommended for first-time clients.

The salon sells Face Reality and LeMieux skin care, including cleansers, serums and moisturizers, with prices that include sales tax. The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, with Wednesday hours ending at 3:00 pm; it is closed Sunday and Monday. A 24-hour notice is needed to reschedule, half the service fee is charged for missed appointments without that notice, and clients more than 20 minutes late may not be seen.
