The salon works with hair of all textures and is known for traditional locs and microlocs, which are installed using interlocking, braid or double strand twist methods after a consultation. It also offers maintenance for Sisterlocks, retightening and retwisting, haircuts, styling, coloring, treatments, creative cornrows, silk press and individual twists. Men's services are offered under For the Fellas, and clients of all ages are welcome.

A visit begins with a greeting and worship music, and weekday guests are offered complimentary treats along with coffee and tea. Vegan and gluten-free sweet options are available, and cakes, cookies and pastries for holidays and occasions can be ordered in advance. Clients earn view points through the loyalty program.

First-time guests book a consultation as their first appointment, and a color consultation is required the first time the salon colors a guest's hair. Microlock installation prices are given in person at consultation rather than over the phone. Cancellations less than 24 hours before an appointment carry a $25 fee, extra guests who will not be serviced are not allowed, and guests more than 15 minutes late are asked to call so the team can confirm what can still be done.
