Seremonya was founded by Leslie Parocha, an esthetician who used her esthetics license to launch the studio. It operates as a holistic facial practice in Covina, with a focus on relaxation, facial massage and nervous system balance.

Facials can be customized and may include gua sha, aromatherapy, acupressure, sound therapy and LED light therapy, depending on the client's needs. The studio uses botanical and Korean skincare products.

The Grounded facial is fully tailored to skin needs. It starts with a double cleanse and exfoliation, includes extractions when needed, and finishes with a mask and a massage of the neck, shoulders, scalp and face. The studio recommends repeating it every four to eight weeks.

The Uplifted facial opens with manual lymphatic drainage and a deep double cleanse, followed by a sculpting facial massage. A buccal massage is available as an option. Hand, arm and scalp massage and a targeted mask come next, and the visit ends with tailored products. It is also suggested every four to eight weeks.

Custom Corrective Peels take about 40 minutes and use Korean-formulated peels to address hyperpigmentation, uneven texture, acne and congestion, with minimal to no downtime. Peels are reserved for returning clients, and a facial with consultation must come first. A peel can be added to a facial for an extra 10 minutes and $55, and a package of three sessions is offered at 15% off. A series of three treatments spaced two to four weeks apart is recommended for the best results.

Booking requires a $20 non-refundable deposit that is applied to the total. The balance is paid in person by Zelle, Venmo or exact cash. A $25 fee applies to no-shows, cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours. Gift cards are available. The studio says it is open to everyone.
