Sense of Skin was started by two owners who have been friends for more than ten years and had offered beauty services together before opening the business. They set out to help clients feel confident in their skin. About

Visits begin with a conversation. Treatments are customized to each client's skin type, concerns and goals, and consultations are free, so clients can ask about any service before booking. The business recommends booking a consultation for questions about any treatment.

The facial menu ranges from short introductory and custom facials to longer luxe treatments. Options for skin concerns include acne-focused facials that use gel enzymes with Skin Script Rx products, anti-aging work with collagen induction therapy, radiofrequency and a series of chemical peels, and brightening and hyperpigmentation programs. Luxe facials use Circadia products.

Body sculpting is a separate menu of non-invasive options. It includes red-light lipo laser, ultrasonic lipo cavitation, radiofrequency skin tightening, cellulite reduction, vacuum and wood therapy, Emsculpt and abdominal molding. The business says results are not guaranteed and vary from person to person.

Permanent makeup, tattoos, lashes, brows, waxing and LED-activated teeth whitening round out the services. The business states its teeth whitening is cosmetic only and that it does not provide dental services.
