Most services can be booked individually or through Sedo Select, the membership. For $150 a month, a member gets one half-hour appointment each month and credits toward services. Members can use credits for laser services, treatment services and body contouring. Unused credits do not expire and can be banked or combined for upgrades, and new members who sign a contract receive a rewards card. Laser hair removal is done with Candela lasers using Alex or YAG settings. It is priced per area, from $400 for the chin or upper lip to $2,500 for a full back or full legs, and it can also be booked as a Sedo Select credit or in a six-treatment series. Treatments are usually spaced four to six weeks apart, and most clients need at least eight to ten sessions. The salon describes laser hair removal as the most effective and safe way to remove unwanted hair, and sets a goal of an 85 to 95 percent reduction in hair growth after six treatments. Before a session, clients should not wax, pluck, thread or use Nair for three to four weeks, and the business will not treat anyone who has recently waxed, plucked or threaded.
