Breana Otey founded Séble Curl Studio. The studio is built for women who want their hair handled with thought and matched to their personal style, whether the hair is curly, wavy, coily or straight.

Every appointment is shaped around the individual. Texture, daily routine, past treatments and goals all inform what is recommended. First-time clients are usually booked into The Séble Cut, a 150-minute visit that pairs a customized curly cut with a scalp and hair detox, steam treatment, styling and recommendations.

The studio runs a calm, personal schedule, and only booked guests are admitted. Children, family and friends are asked not to attend unless they are needed for help. Each visit is confirmed by email with a reminder beforehand, and payment is taken at the end of the appointment by card, Apple Pay, cash, Zelle or Venmo.

The studio is open Tuesday to Thursday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM, and is closed Monday, Saturday and Sunday. Online deposits are $40 for the Curly Cut, the Séble Cut and the Straight Cut, and $30 for the Blowout Trim. Changes need at least 48 hours' notice. Services are final and non-refundable, though clients who are unhappy with a service are asked to reach out within seven days.

Each appointment is shaped around the client's hair type, daily routine, past treatments and what they want from their hair.
