The space is modern and design-forward, with curated interiors and contemporary artwork. Services are grouped into color, extensions, lashes and brows, nails, styling, texture services and treatments. Nail care takes place in a separate Nail Lounge with a private setting, and lash and waxing services are offered in The Lashes Den.
On the color menu, single process is a root retouch that covers gray and runs $100 to $125. Full and half hi-lights, balayage (a hand-painted lightening technique) and double process, which is a lightening service followed by a gloss, are also offered. Gloss costs $45 to $85, and corrective color is priced after consultation.
Extensions include tapes, K-tips, I-tips and weft, all priced after consultation. Treatments include Wellaplex, a bond-building treatment used during lightening or color, K-18 and Kérastase Fusio-Dose. Relaxers permanently smooth and relax the hair.
The Academy runs 3-day courses at $1,500 each in foundational and advanced barbering, cutting and styling, and coloring. Each course includes six hands-on doll-head classes and three demonstrations.
