Hair is the core of the menu. It covers cuts for men, women and children, blow dries, updos and special-occasion styling, bridal styling, perms and relaxers, single and double process color, highlights, balayage, and keratin and Brazilian blowout smoothing treatments. Extensions are priced after a consultation. Prices start at $25 for a child's cut, $45 for a men's cut, $50 for a women's cut without blow dry, and $150 for balayage at Glenview. At Chicago, shampoo only is $15, student men's and women's cuts are offered at reduced prices, and blow dries with curls or flat irons carry an additional charge.
Massage therapy is performed by licensed professionals and includes Swedish, deep tissue, sport, aromatherapy, hot rock and pregnancy massage, mostly in one-hour sessions. The nail menu covers manicures, pedicures, polish changes, nail repair, paraffin treatments, silk wraps and dip powder manicures. Skin care includes European, aroma, Scruples Signature, Multi Vitamin and Rosacea facials as well as microdermabrasion, which is priced by consultation. Every facial begins with a detailed skin analysis.
Waxing and threading are handled by estheticians, who assess the hair and skin before choosing a wax type. Threading and waxing are offered for brows, lip, chin, sides and full face, along with body waxing from the arms and legs to the bikini area. Special services at Glenview include eyebrow threading, eyebrow tint and eyelash tint.
Facial treatments start with a detailed skin analysis, and waxing is preceded by an assessment of the hair and skin to select the right wax.
