Appointments are built around listening to each client. Services are shaped to how a client's hair behaves and how they live day to day, and the studio works with people who want a subtle, low-maintenance update as well as those who want a complete change.

The menu is grouped into cuts, color, perms, styling and treatment. Color covers single and double process color, root touch-ups, highlights, balayage and foilayage, and color correction. Color correction starts at $600 and requires a $100 deposit from new clients, with the final price depending on complexity. Balayage, foilayage and color correction can include K18, Olaplex, or pre and post treatment.

Chemical services need at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule, and other services need 24 hours. The first late cancellation is waived when notice is given, later late cancellations are charged a 50% fee, and no-call, no-show appointments are charged the full service total automatically. Bookings open three months in advance and are made online. Wedding-related inquiries must be sent by email to info@schangeitup.com; the phone line is (917) 727-2372.
