Scalp Spa & Co is built around the wash step of a hair visit, with the goal of making that part of the appointment more relaxing and more than a quick rinse.

Each session begins with a light scalp brush, which lifts away dead skin and stimulates blood flow. Next comes a pre-shampoo exfoliant that clears dead skin, product build-up and impurities, followed by two rounds of shampoo. A deluxe mask is then worked through the scalp and hair. While it rests, the client receives a mini facial and a hand massage.

The visit finishes with a hydrating conditioner, a scalp massage and a quick rough dry. Hair is not fully dried or styled afterward; a rough dry is given when time allows. Clients may bring their own clip, or hair ties are provided.

Clients do not need to wash their hair beforehand, but should gently rinse out hairspray, gel or dry shampoo before arriving. There is no need to wash the face first, since the face is cleansed twice during the facial portion. Gift cards are sold as eGift cards through an online link and expire one year after purchase. Booking is by appointment only, with no evening or weekend times. Cancellations require 24 hours notice, and a $45 deposit applies to no-shows or cancellations made with less than 12 hours notice to rebook.
