The business is locally owned and says it has served the Minneapolis community for more than 25 years. It runs four locations: two in Eden Prairie (on Prairie Center Drive and at the Prairie Village Mall), one Downtown in Excelsior, and one at Tonka Village Center in Tonka Bay.

Guest service is presented as the core of the business's philosophy. The salon says it selects ethical, quality products with natural, nourishing ingredients, and it uses Aveda hair and skin care, including the Aveda Advanced Uplift Skin Refining Treatment, a peel-style facial.

Every service starts with a consultation that covers goals, concerns, allergies, medical conditions and the products to be used. Prices vary by provider according to experience level and demand, and they can change without notice. Each service ticket includes a $3.95 service price addition that goes toward employee benefit funds under Minnesota statute 181.9445-.9448.

Hair services run from New Talent stylist haircuts up to Expert stylist cuts, and include freehand balayage, highlights, all-over color, retouches, tape-in and hand-tied extensions, perms, and Brazilian Hair Smoothing. Skin services include facials, peels, dermaplaning and microchanneling. Other menus cover waxing, lash lifts and mink lash extensions, massage and sound-based sessions, body wraps, manicures and pedicures, and makeup.

Bridal services are offered for the bride, the groom and the wedding party, and are booked by calling any location. Bridal parties of three or more are reserved with a credit card number, and a bridal party deposit is refundable if the appointment is cancelled at least 48 hours ahead. Excelsior and Tonka Bay each have a small boutique with women's clothing, candles and jewelry, and gift cards are sold in store and online.

Booking requires a credit card to hold the appointment, which is not charged until the visit is complete. Cancellations or changes need at least 24 hours' notice, and later cancellations are charged in full. Children are welcome only with an appointment, only the guest receiving a service may be on the styling floor or in spa rooms, and phones are asked to be silenced. Guests unhappy with a service should contact the salonspa manager within 72 hours.
