Sam Hair Design is a one-person studio run by its owner, Sammie, and set up as an alternative to a typical salon. Visits are one-on-one from start to finish, so each client works directly with the owner rather than rotating between stylists.
New clients begin with a 45-minute private consultation. From there the studio recommends a system and schedules a Transformation Day, a roughly two-and-a-half-hour appointment in which a custom-fitted skin hair system is sized from a template, professionally bonded, cut and blended, and finished with basic styling.
Existing clients come in for Hair System Maintenance, which covers removing and cleaning the current system, reapplying and bonding it, cutting the hair on it and basic styling. Most maintenance clients return every two to four weeks, with the schedule shaped by lifestyle, body chemistry and the look they want. A shorter Clean & Style visit is available for guests who wear a non-bonded system.
Optional Performance Add-Ons, each about 15 minutes, address scalp comfort, bond performance and how a system wears. They include a Mud Masque, an Exfoliating Scrub and Max Hold Sport. The studio is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 9:30 to 5:30, and offers wifi and parking on site. Clients can book by phone or email.
