The business has grown into a mix of salt therapy, head spa rituals, facials, massage, body treatments and botanical nail care. The owner wanted the space to feel warm, welcoming and a little earthy rather than formal, and the business describes itself as not a typical salon or spa.

The salt side of the menu is central. The shared salt room has a Himalayan salt floor, a salt fireplace and loungers, and pharmaceutical-grade salt is dispersed into the air during sessions. Classic sessions run 45 minutes for up to six guests. The Mush-Room is a private room for one or two guests and is offered to children or families who prefer their own space. Guests stay fully dressed, remove their shoes before entering, and are asked to leave electronics outside when possible. Anyone who is sick, running a fever or contagious is asked to reschedule, and first-time guests are asked to arrive a few minutes early.

Head spa rituals are built around hair and scalp care, and the business describes them as luxury. A 30-minute Forest Reset or Scalp Reset ritual is $60, and a 45-minute Detox + Repair ritual is $90. Head Spa + Salt Ritual pairs a 45-minute head spa ritual with a 45-minute salt room session for $110. The Rosemary Woods ritual uses Wood Fairy Apothecary Rosemary Mint shampoo and conditioner. Add-ons include a finishing blowout, neck and shoulder work, a relaxation facial, a forest aromatherapy towel ritual and a plant-based product upgrade.

Skin care facials use Bambu Earth products. The Salty Woods Signature Facial is offered in 30, 60 and 90-minute versions, and other facials target hydration, clarifying, and age-focused concerns. Massage and body services include a one-hour full-body restorative massage, a back-focused facial and a 45-minute full-body exfoliation and hydration treatment. Face waxing is also offered.

Botanical nail care is offered under the name Hidden Hollow. The nail services focus on natural nails and do not use acrylics or harsh enhancements. They use Manucurist Paris products, and the Green Flash LED polish can be added to any manicure or pedicure for an extra $10. The salon says this polish is up to 84% plant-based, vegan, lasts up to 12 days and removes quickly with its removal system.

Salty classes held in the salt room include sip and salt yoga, Reiki and salt therapy, and sound bowl and salt therapy, each about an hour and priced between $40 and $45. Memberships include the Salty Society plan at $59 a month with four monthly salt room sessions, one bring-a-friend pass and 10% off spa services and retail. Head spa memberships are $159 a month for two Forest Reset rituals or $229 a month for two Detox + Repair rituals, and include a finishing blowout and two salt room sessions with a two-month minimum. The Hidden Hollow membership is $69 a month for two Forest Manicures, with a two-month minimum. Gift cards work toward most services except group classes, and eGift cards come in $5, $10, $20, $50 or custom amounts.

The business is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 3pm, and is closed Sunday and Monday. It is located at 200 Byrd Way, Suite 115, Greenwood, IN 46143.
