SALT wellness

SALT wellness is housed in a centuries-old manor in Queenstown, where the salt cave sits. The cave has more than 20,000 pounds of Himalayan salt on its walls and floors, and a halogenerator disperses dry salt particles into the air during a session. Each 45-minute Salt Cave Session takes place in a space kept at about 70 degrees, with zero gravity chairs, soft blankets and gentle music. Guests may wear socks or go barefoot, since shoes are not allowed in the cave, and jewelry is fine to keep on. The cave is a chat-free space, and it can be booked privately for up to 12 guests.

The foot soak lounge is in the solarium, where guests sit in a chair with tea or water. Options include an Aromatherapy Soak with herbal salt blends, flower petals and jets, and an Ionic Detox Soak that uses a bracelet and an ion array in the water, with a color chart provided to read results. The Ionic Detox Soak has medical restrictions, so guests should check the booking link for details before booking.

The holistic day spa offers massage and facial treatments that bring in energy work and sound healing. The Salted Soul Journey and the SALT Signature Massage are its named services. After a treatment, guests can use a zen room, a heated detoxifying salt dome, tea and a private infrared sauna.

Life Energy Services include Reiki, private sound healing, and tarot and birth chart readings, and couples sessions are available for these. Classes and events cover sound baths, meditation, yoga and crafting, with some held in the carriage house. Gift cards come in amounts of $40, $85, $100 and $200 or a custom amount, can be sent by text or email, and can also be bought as a group gift card.
