Salons 117 opened in 2018. Owner and stylist Julie Giesting started the salon in an older home in Downtown Mason, and the owner describes the aim as a welcoming, professional space. Clients can reach the salon at 513.492.9558.

Stylists each bring their own focus: Lindsay McClellan works mainly in color, with an emphasis on balayage and redheads, and cuts for men, women and children. Danielle Maffey paints hair with Pulp Riot color and specializes in blowouts. Lane Claxton covers cutting, coloring, balayage, waxing and extensions. Sarah Van Horn specializes in men's hair and grooming.
