Coloring services range from bleach, color, and style to longer visits that add a cut, or a relaxer and straightener. Bleach and color services require a consultation before a booking request is made. These appointments run roughly four to six hours.
The haircut and relaxer menu is built from combinations: shampoo and style, cut and style, relaxer and style, and relaxer with cut and style. Each is priced separately, and a black semi-permanent color can be added to the shampoo, cut, or relaxer options for $50.
SalonMM runs two courses for people interested in short hair. Look, Learn and Shadow meets weekly: clients observe senior stylists at work as it happens, can put questions to them during live appointments, and see how the salon runs day to day. The monthly Finger Wave Method workshop teaches how to shape lines on short pixie cuts, covering the use of hair mold, where to place the framing, which products to choose, and contemporary takes on the technique.
Booking opens each Friday at 5:00 PM for the following Sunday through Saturday. Cancellations need at least two hours' notice and can be made through the website, email, phone, or text. Clients more than 15 minutes late are cancelled and marked as no-shows, and no-show clients may only be served on available walk-in days. Children and additional guests are not permitted at appointments, and clients under 18 need an adult companion. Cash and mobile payments, including Zelle and Apple Tap to Cash, are accepted. All services and sales are final, and prices and services may change at any time.
