The salon says it has built close relationships with clients over its roughly 25 years in business and aims for an intimate setting. Clients may see any team member on request. Pricing for new talent stylists is listed by level for women's cuts, men's cuts, shampoo and blowouts, color, updos and highlights. Children are not permitted, and the salon says its open space is not suitable for babies or children, although a children's haircut is listed among its services.

Color is done with Aveda Full Spectrum hair color, which the salon describes as 96% naturally derived and damage-free. Balayage and ombre require a consultation before booking. First-time clients can book a new guest package for color, glossing or highlights at discounted prices.

Booking requires a card to hold the appointment. Changes or cancellations up to 24 hours ahead are free, while changes within 24 hours or no-shows incur a 50% fee. Clients who arrive more than 10 to 15 minutes late may need to reschedule. Clients who are unhappy with a service can contact the salon within 7 days to rebook a complimentary adjustment.

Every holiday season the salon hosts its Tinker Toy Drive, which is in its fifteenth year. The drive matches staff and customers with young people and households in nearby communities who could use support.
