First-time color clients start with a complimentary in-person consultation before booking a color appointment with Marissa Taylor. A deposit is paid when booking after the consultation, is applied to the service, and is non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled. Final prices are set at consultation and depend on hair length, technical difficulty, time, and the tools and products used. A blow-dry is included in the price of a full color service, and custom blended conditioning and bond-protecting treatments are added to color quotes when needed.

The salon offers a wide color menu, from single-process color, touch-ups and grey blending to double-process color, highlights, balayage and foilayage, ombré and shadow root work, and creative color on very pale blonde hair. Platinum blonding is a specialty. Toner and gloss can reduce brassiness, boost vibrancy or add depth to roots, and they do not lighten hair or cover grey.

Haircuts range from a quick dry trim or clipper cut for returning clients to The Signature Haircut, a custom cut designed around the client's face shape that includes a consultation, shampoo and conditioning with a luxury pH-balanced line, and a blowout. Men's services include designer barbering that combines clipper and scissor work, beard, bang and undercut services, and custom clipper designs priced after an in-house consultation.

Clients who want to learn to style their own hair, or a parent who wants to learn to style a child's hair, can book 30-minute or 60-minute lessons. Hours are Tuesday 10AM to 6PM, Wednesday and Thursday 10AM to 8PM, Friday 9AM to 4PM and Saturday 8AM to 3PM, with Sundays and Mondays closed. The phone number is (219) 322-6693.
