Salon & Sanctuary

Salon & Sanctuary was founded in 2018 by salon owner Felicia Austin as House of Beauty. After seven years in business, it was renamed Salon & Sanctuary in 2025. The salon describes itself as a welcoming space for women.

Bridal work is a central part of the salon. Bridal consultations take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, by appointment only. Booking a consultation requires a non-refundable $100 deposit, which can be applied to a bridal package once the wedding is booked. The salon says it has worked with more than 50 bridal parties. Its three bridal packages are It's Your Day at $400, The Perfect Pair at $550, and Small but Sweet at $1,500 for up to four people.

Appointments are required, and evening appointments may be available on request.

Empower Ministries was founded in 2020 by Felicia Austin and began at the salon as a house of prayer. It now hosts prayer meetings, worship services, conferences and baptism gatherings. Empower Ministries T-shirts are sold for $30 in sizes small through extra large. Orders are placed by text and picked up at the salon.

The salon presents itself as a space where women can feel comfortable and unwind in the chair.
