Salon Riviera sits on the west side of South Catalina Avenue in Redondo Beach, between Vista Del Mar and South Elena Avenue, in Riviera Village. The salon describes the village as a several-block area with a laid-back coastal feel and easy parking.

Services cover hair, makeup, nails, tanning, skincare and rejuvenation. Hair work includes haircuts, color, hi-lites, extensions, straightening, styling and updos. Makeup services include basic makeup and lash services, and lashes can be added to a makeup booking. Nail services range from classic manicures and pedicures to gel, acrylic, dip and soft gel tip work, and a sunless spray tan is also offered.

The salon books hair, makeup and nail services for weddings, proms, graduations, birthdays, anniversaries and other special events, for a group or for one person. Straightening services begin with a consultation, and hair extensions from Keratip Bond and Hairlocs are priced after a consultation. Spray tan clients are asked to exfoliate the day before, shave or wax beforehand, and skip makeup, moisturizer and perfume on the day of the tan.

Booking can be done online or by phone. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice, and a fee applies to missed appointments. Hours run from 9 to 7 on Tuesdays and Saturdays, 10 to 7 on Wednesdays and Fridays, and 10 to 8 on Thursdays. The salon is closed on Mondays and Sundays.
