Salon Raybon opened on May 1, 2011, in a shopping center on Coursey Blvd. Owners Tonya and Jeff Raybon later bought a neighborhood home, had it rezoned and converted it into the current salon, which the site says took shape in May 2018 after a vision board drafted in January 2012. The salon says it aims for a personal, human-centered experience for every guest and places equal value on clients and its stylists. Hair color ranges from toner and root touch-ups to full color and corrective color, which begins with a consultation. Lightening includes face frames, partial and full highlights and balayage. Every balayage comes with a customizable gloss, a bond protector and the salon's signature SR blowout.

Haircuts include a luxury shampoo, consultation and professional styling, with bang trims and short, medium and long cuts priced by length. Luxury treatments range from quick hydrating and bond-focused services to Botox for the hair and three keratin options that last from a few washes to several months. Extensions are offered in hand-tied, tape, fusion, V-Light, and removable clip-in, halo and topper styles, with a free consultation before pricing for new clients.

Visits happen in an open floor plan with wood tile floors and large windows facing Coursey Blvd. Amenities include a washhouse, a snack bar and a music playlist. The salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays. New clients fill out the New Client Form, which can include photos of hair goals, and sign a consent form at the first appointment. Weddings require a salon contract and a non-refundable 50% deposit at booking.
