Salon Ostara

Salon Ostara was founded by Christina Basquez Trostel, a Denver hairstylist with over 20 years in the beauty industry. Before opening her own salon, she worked at several well-regarded salons across the Denver area, and the business in Sloans Lake is hers.

The salon aims to make every guest feel welcomed, supported and at home from the moment they arrive, and to go beyond what clients expect. Appointments can be booked online through the salon's schedule page. Hours are Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 7pm and Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Clients are asked to give at least 72 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling, and a fee applies to late cancellations and no-shows.

Color is a major focus. Services include balayage, full highlights, partial highlights, foiled highlights, and retouch color, with custom color work tailored to each client. Precision haircutting and everyday styling are also offered. Hair extensions are available as full-head bonded or tape-in installations, and pricing is set after a consultation.

Salon Ostara carries Kerastase hair care products for different hair types, textures and concerns. Gift certificates are sold. The salon also leases booth space to independent stylists, several of whom run their own client books within the salon.
