Salon O serves clients in Point Pleasant Beach with hair, nails, makeup, waxing and extensions. The team is led by the owner, Dena Pederson, who is also the chief stylist, and the salon lists senior stylists, assistants, a manicurist, a waxing and tinting specialist and makeup artists.

The salon is open Tuesday through Thursday from 9 AM to 9 PM and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Saturday hours run 9 AM to 3 PM and are by appointment only. The salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Hair services cover ladies and men's cuts and styling, along with children's cuts for ages 10 and younger. Color options include single process and double process color, glazes, blowouts and blowouts with a finish. Highlight work ranges from face frame and T-section foils to partial and full head highlights, with balayage options as well.

Chemical treatments include perms, texture waves and keratin treatments in 6 week, 6 month and straight-hair versions. Extensions come in hand-tied, keratin bond and halo couture styles, and each one requires a consultation before booking.

Makeup pricing is set at an onsite consultation, and lash application is also offered.

Nails include regular and mini pedicures, manicures with or without polish, French manicures and pedicure add-ons, Shellac, polish changes, and a Shirley Temple manicure or pedicure for ages 10 and younger. A half-hour reflexology session is also offered. Waxing covers face, body and bikini areas, plus tinting and lamination.

Booking requires a credit card on file. Cancellations can be made at any hour by text, call or voicemail. Services cancelled within 12 hours of the appointment are charged 25% of the price, and no-shows are charged 50%. Clients arriving more than fifteen minutes late may have services honored at the artist's discretion. Gift cards are available. The salon also has a one-week grace period from the initial appointment for adjustments at no cost, though adjustments are not provided if the hair was altered afterward elsewhere.

According to the salon, its team uses products and techniques it considers the best. Extensions and makeup are priced after a consultation.
