Salon Maria

Salon Maria opened in 2020 and is owned by Maria. It serves both men and women with hair color, hair extensions and hair loss consultations.

Extension work is limited to two systems. Great Lengths extensions are 100% human hair sourced from India, which the salon describes as temple hair, and they are attached with a keratin protein bond that the salon says does not cause damage. Hair U Wear Pro clip-in extensions are also offered.

Hair loss consultations are private 30-minute appointments booked by phone. During a consultation, the salon assesses needs and recommends a solution.

Appointments are booked by phone at (412) 452-0013. The salon is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 to 4:00, with Saturday hours from 9:30 to 4:00 on every fifth Saturday, and it is closed Friday and Sunday. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours' notice carry a fee of 50% of the scheduled service total.

The salon is a boutique as well as a salon. It uses Davines products, which are made in Parma, Italy, and offers luxury lines including Zenagen, Epres, KHAIRPEP and Aquis Towels.

The salon describes itself as a green circle salon. It says its luxury product range is meant to heal, repair and grow hair.
