Salon Maffei was established in 2002 by owner Nick Trombetta and operates from an art deco building in downtown White Plains. The salon describes itself as a premium hair salon in Westchester County and states that it was voted one of the top premium hair salons in the county. About

Services are grouped into hair design for women, men, teens and children, color and highlighting, blow dry styles, formal styles for bridal and events, keratin treatments, hair treatments such as Olaplex and Colorplex, and tape-in extensions and wig services. The facial menu covers mini, hydrating, extraction, acne, sensitive skin, anti-aging and microdermabrasion treatments, along with the signature Maffei Facial Experience. Back and shoulder massage and a stressed-out head and facial massage are offered with CBD. Wedding hair can be arranged on location, and lash lifts, lash tints and microblading are offered as well.

Clients are asked to arrive ten minutes before their appointment. Cancellations need at least 24 hours notice, appointments longer than an hour require a credit card, and no-shows are charged the full service price. Visa, Mastercard and cash are accepted, and personal checks are taken after a client's second visit. The salon is open Tuesday and Wednesday 9 am to 6 pm, Thursday 11 am to 7:30 pm, Friday 9 am to 6 pm, and Saturday 8:30 am to 5 pm, and is closed Sunday and Monday.
