Salon M

Salon M is located in a suite inside the Phenix Salon Suites building at the Lake Success Shopping Center on Union Turnpike in New Hyde Park. The location has elevator or stair access and ample parking.

The salon is owned by Maria, a hair stylist and colorist who has worked in hair for more than 35 years and has been featured in Beauty Launchpad magazine several times. Client reviews describe her as highly skilled in both cutting and color, and as welcoming to clients of all ages, including children.

Haircuts are offered for men, women and children. Color services start with a free consultation and use Davines, an Italian hair color brand the salon describes as one of the highest quality color lines from Italy. Single process color and foil color, full head or partial, are available, along with toning.

For smoothing and straightening, Maria offers several keratin-based treatments, including Trissola True Plus, which the salon says lasts three to five months, and Trissola Express, which lasts six to eight weeks. A non-formaldehyde treatment and Japanese permanent straightening are also offered. Maria serves as the national brand educator for the Trissola keratin line. A Reparative treatment and a Forever Ends blowout product are also on the menu.

Eyleen is a stylist at the salon with more than 30 years of experience. Clients can book with Maria or Eyleen by text or phone, and the salon is currently accepting new clients. Gift certificates are available.
