Salon Her Inc. opened in early 2022 in Orlando as a full-service hair salon. The salon describes itself as diverse, modern and high-end, and says its aim is to help women feel confident with hair experiences tailored to them.

Owner Kendra Alia founded Salon Her Institute, which offers online hair and beauty education, including a subscription with step-by-step videos. She also created Hair Language, a hair extension line. Extensions must be ordered through the Hair Language site at least three weeks before the installation appointment.

Before booking, the salon recommends a consultation, in person or virtual, to get final pricing. Listed prices are starting prices, and the final cost can rise with added services, hair length and texture. Appointments are booked online or through a stylist's link, and a reminder email with location and parking details arrives 24 hours ahead. Clients are asked to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. Some appointments can run up to 8 hours or longer, so the salon advises against booking flights on the same day.

Guests are not allowed at appointments. Clients under 17 may be accompanied by one parent or an adult over 18, who waits in designated areas. Children must be at least 8, well behaved and able to follow basic commands, and they pay the same prices as adults. Limited complimentary refreshments are offered during appointments. Outside food and drink are not allowed, except a covered drink cup with a tight-fitting, non-spill lid.

A non-refundable deposit secures every appointment and is deducted from the final cost at checkout. Deposits cannot transfer to another service, and cancellations for any reason forfeit them. Clients more than 10 minutes late may have their appointment cancelled or rescheduled depending on availability, and a $15 late fee applies if the stylist can still serve them. Debit, credit and cash are accepted, and a service fee may apply to credit card payments. Refunds are not offered on services performed, but service adjustments are available within one week of the appointment if a client is not satisfied. The salon notes that results cannot be guaranteed, since hair history and home care affect outcomes.

The salon's stated goal is to help women feel more self-assured, with hair services fitted to each client's needs.
