Salon Foomin opened in May 2020 in Arlington as a Japanese hair salon. Its services fall into two groups: color and perm work, and cutting and styling. Shampoo, styling, color, perm and treatments all use Japanese products from Milbon and Hoyu.
The salon is open Thursday to Monday, 9am to 5pm, and closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Combined cut and color bookings receive $15 off the total. Shampoo, cut and blow-dry are included in every perm service, while a treatment does not include a blow-dry. Special color requires a consultation before booking, and Color/Hair Manicure pricing depends on hair length, the amount of hair and whether a cut and color are combined.
Parking is free on Massachusetts Avenue for up to two hours. Unlimited free parking is available on nearby Cleveland, Marathon and Winter Streets, which are residential streets.
