Salon Eiro opened in 2019 at 101 W. Nepessing St. in Lapeer, Michigan. It offers hair, nail and beauty services under one roof, and the salon says it was set up to feel relaxed and calm and to build lasting relationships with its clients.

About

Hair services cover cuts and styles, color, treatments and bridal work. Color options run from foil highlights, which are priced per foil and in packages by foil count, to balayage, ombre, color melt and a bombshell blonde. Stylists specialize in blonding, balayage and custom color. Color prices are starting prices and can change with the amount of product used. Large color corrections, fashion shades and extensions require a free consultation of usually no more than 15 minutes before booking.

Bridal services include hair and makeup for brides, bridesmaids and trial sessions, either at the salon or on site. The salon travels throughout Michigan for bridal work, and a $50 nonrefundable deposit goes toward day-of services for bridal parties; for on-site work that deposit also serves as the travel fee. Bridal trials are recommended at least a month before the wedding, and a bridal contract is sent once the date is confirmed as available.

Nail services include gel, acrylic, classic polish and nail art, with children's manicures and pedicures for ages 11 and under. Beauty services include full face and eye and brow makeup, band lash application and waxing.

Booking is by appointment only, and walk-ins are not taken. Commission stylists do not offer online booking, so clients call the salon or message it on social media. Booth rent stylists offer online booking through links on the About page or can be contacted directly. Services are a la carte, so prices add up across a visit. A free 15 minute consultation is available for clients unsure what to book. Clients are asked to arrive with clean, dry hair and inspiration photos and to skip bulky clothing such as hoodies and dangly earrings.
