Each day at the salon begins with an intentional routine, which can include burning incense, lighting a candle and clearing the space. The salon states that its services are always vegan and cruelty free, and it primarily uses vegan, cruelty-free and earth-conscious brands.

Appointments are booked through a waitlist, and openings and last-minute cancellations are offered to waitlist clients in the order received. A color consultation is required before any color service and can be done virtually by FaceTime or phone call. Hair prep guidelines are recommended for texture, Helix and color services, since skipping them may affect appointment length, accuracy and price. Clients with a sensitive or tender scalp, or hair that tangles quickly, are asked to mention it when booking so extra time can be set aside.
