Two generations of the owners now work on the salon floor. The salon calls itself full-service and fashion-forward, and says its work has appeared in major publications.

The team hires specialists rather than generalists, and expects stylists to keep learning as part of the job. Each service begins with a consultation on hair history, home routine and the look the client wants. Stylists tell clients plainly what will and will not work on their hair before any cutting begins. Color visits include a tone consultation, a strand assessment and a plan the client can repeat at home.

Beyond cutting and color, the salon offers several smoothing treatments in named brands, most of them formaldehyde-free, along with DevaCut dry cutting for curly, wavy and coily hair. Treatments and add-ons include deep-conditioning masques, bond-repair, scalp therapy and toning glaze. The barbershop provides men's grooming by barbers, and the wedding services include bridal trials, day-of styling and on-location work. The salon uses European hair and skincare lines it says it selects for performance.

Clients can book online, choosing a service, stylist and time, and receive an email confirmation. Complimentary consultations are offered to help choose a smoothing treatment, and new color or correction clients are asked to start with a consultation. A referral program gives the referring guest $20 off and the referred new guest 20% off a first visit, for guests aged 18 and over. Gift cards are also available.
