Salon De Paris ATX opened in Austin in 2025, founded by Scott Grosso and Lydia Tran. The family's salons reached California in 1997, and Lydia led the family salon in Milpitas for more than two decades after joining her sisters in 1999.

The menu covers haircuts for women, men and children, color including creative shades such as blue, purple, pink and green, and highlights such as money piece, mini, and babylights or balayage. Longer-lasting smoothing options include Brazilian Blowout, GK Keratin, Keratin treatment and Japanese hair straightening, alongside a Milbon conditioning treatment, perms and hair extensions.

Visits are booked by appointment. Color and Japanese hair straightening consultations are offered at no charge, while hair extensions require a consultation first and are priced per hour plus the cost of the hair. Changes need at least 24 hours' notice; a change made inside that window carries a fee of half the service cost, and no-shows are charged in full. A card is kept on file for services longer than an hour. Children under 12 may attend only if they are also booked for a service, and anyone over 12 waits in the waiting area during the appointment. Pets are not allowed, though service animals are welcome.

The salon is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM. Parking is free, and amenities include beer and wine, a snack bar and WiFi. Staff speak Chinese, English and Vietnamese. Payment is accepted in cash, by debit card, and by Discover, Visa and MasterCard. The salon says it was named Top Salon of 2025 by BusinessRate, which is its own claim. It is also hiring skilled stylists, colorists and support staff, and runs a Co-Stylist Program for fresh graduates lasting 9 to 12 months, with work on live models and educator guidance.
