Owner Samantha Clark founded Salon Central Training Academy, which runs an in-house cosmetology program she designed. The one-year program mixes hands-on work in the working salon with classroom theory, and students train alongside the owner and a co-teacher. The salon says the program is accredited.

Quoted prices are adjusted for hair length, hair thickness and any extra products used, so the amount charged can differ from the listed rate. Cancellations must reach the salon at least 24 hours ahead. A missed booking without that timely notice incurs a fee of half the appointment's cost, and a no-call, no-show incurs the full cost. Clients need to keep a credit card on record for every booking, and the card is charged in certain specified situations. Clients who repeatedly miss appointments may be removed as clients, a decision the salon makes on its own judgment.

Guests have 7 days to file a complaint about services. Valid redo claims are rescheduled within 7 days, either with the original stylist or with another stylist the salon chooses. The redo policy does not cover changed minds, the opinions of others, or color changes caused by lack of proper home care. Refunds are granted only for irreparable hair damage or chemical injury noted before the guest leaves the salon.
