The services focus on low-maintenance hair: lived-in color, blonding, extensions, blowouts, cuts and treatments such as a Brazilian Blowout. According to the salon, its color lasts three or more months between visits, and its products and techniques help hair hold a style for four to five months. These are the salon's own claims. Stylists also share tips and product recommendations before clients leave to help protect the hair and extend the style.

A visit starts with a conversation about what the client is hoping for, including inspiration photos and goals for their hair. Consultations look past face shape and skin tone to how the client wants to feel in the new look. Stylists will say so if they think a requested cut, color or treatment won't suit the client, and they may suggest alternatives. Some looks take more than one visit. New color clients complete an online consultation form before booking, and new clients choose one service from the New Client menu, pick a day and time, then receive an email with the form.

The space is relaxed, and clients can be themselves. Complimentary espresso and seltzer water are offered, and a photo spot called the Selfie Swing is available. Final cost can depend on hair length, density, texture and unusual situations. The salon says it has won Best of Boston and Best of Northshore, according to its own claims.

Cancellations, reschedules or changes need at least 48 hours' notice to avoid a charge of 50% of the scheduled service, and clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be turned away. Refunds are not offered. Adjustments are available when the follow-up is booked within two weeks of the first visit with the same stylist, and products not bought at the salon may add charges to an adjustment. Tips can be paid in cash or by card. A referral program gives both the referrer and the new client $25 off their next appointment. Photos and videos may be taken for social media and marketing, and clients can ask not to be featured.
